After six weeks of cold weather, flu, and muddy ground, January
24 brought sunshine and relatively warm temperatures (47 degrees). Chris saddled up for a ride on his gelding and I let Winston
out into his pasture.
Hard to believe it has been exactly
one year since we purchased Winston. Winston is as you see him, barefoot with a 4" foot. He has been given a clean bill
of health to begin the breeding season and now we wait for the mares to come to his court.
